Windows Pager - clever multi-desktop tool

alles im Blick

everything in sight

Of course there are "heaps" tools to distribute the many open windows on different virtual desktops, so that one keeps track. It "hops" a sense of a work environment to another and that each program has windows in mind that you're needed. This small freeware tool "Windows Pager" serves that purpose better than many competitors overloaded:

  1. Instead of numbers shows WindowsPager small icons of the programs that are currently on the respective virtual desktop. Okay, so the icons are mini course to fit in the bottom bar - but for the fast "recognition" which is usually sufficient.
  2. If on another desktop a little "happens" (such as a mail message arrives or a prompt appears), then flashes the desktop in question - it will be done discreetly pointed out to look.
  3. Any application can be set by clicking on "always visible" - move so from one to another virtual desktop (if, for example, a portion of its Excel spreadsheet would constantly have in mind).

The operation of the part is super-easy and, above all, it takes only about 5 MB of RAM, which is at the present time almost nothing. Jochen Baier on his program home page next to a small instruction text is a little video that demonstrates the application. Only me, the support is lacking for a 2nd Monitor, but maybe that is still upgraded, if you write a nice email, Jochen :-)

That part works, but I needed some configurable keyboard shortcuts ... This should respond exactly as in Ubuntu ...
