Podcast an der Universität Ulm

I live in the picturesque town of Ulm, just meters from the Danube flows through the city and separates Germany from Bavaria. And in this deep dark blue river are flooded repeatedly corpses. Responsible for one or the other is dead pinion Ulrich, an award-winning thriller author. My students had him for a podcast as a guest and he who once was chief reporter for the South-West Press, candidly narrates how he could see one day, no briefcase carrier more. Worth listening to ... (or on iTunes search term "medienmami" type) - In this context, the same two software recommendations: Ziepod and MediaMonkey. Although I think iTunes is a great program, but because I have an iPod instead of a Maxfield MP3 player my own, ... transmits the synchronization does not (BadApple I already tried). After several tests, I discovered
MediaMonkey . The part can be really enormous, but above all, it not only recognizes USB sticks, iRiver, iPod, etc., but it even has an extra plug for the MTP mode - and is ideal for my Maxfield. Also very nice: via simple tags can be any directory structure for the player to be defined. Since MediaMonkey can also use the Winamp plugins, thanks to this plugin also protected iTunes M4P files played.
So much for an ideal, but it falls short in one respect: in a really good podcast management. I have the freeware ZiePOD discovered. All feeds are detected clean, see the article text, tags, taken, with a little scripting language, you can define additional commands - well worth a look.
Yeah, sure, I use an iPod would only iTunes. But I'm still hoping in vain that I sometimes give such a one cute little Nano ;-)
