Blogger in drudgery

he Neue Zürcher Zeitung (NZZ) has just celebrated its 225-year anniversary. It maintains the world's largest base of foreign correspondents, and one of its hallmarks is the stubborn insistence on lead deserts. In its current edition, it says under the somewhat militaristic sounding title of "buyer in the drudgery of knowledge" about professional blogs. It states:
But the growing blogosphere as the designated community weblog writers in addition to political reporters with journalistic claim increasingly include professionals who work up in the drudgery thematically related information, and make publicly available.
First I had disturbed me about this "Fron" Comparison something - but of course there is something in it. And it is true for many bloggers who take their offer seriously and maintain. While others are the "beers around the corner" dedicated, but often they remain just hang in front of the notebook to quickly have "something new" set in her blog. Sure, you do not do that, then you are there free. But if you want that your own blog has a certain quality, then it also costs a lot of time.
Well, whatever. Very glad it took me at least, that in the NZZ article , the blog of my students got an honorable mention:
Professionally produced and the blog is medienmami.de, wants to help the parents to evaluate computer games to the media from books to offer. The range is operated by students of computer science media and media education at the University of Ulm.
PS: I'm joined in this context, a very interesting blog: Media Coverage
