Speed Reading with Google Reader
V I had even a small video created about what feeds are at all. In this introductory course, came to the question of where is now to be the real advantage of feeds. Because whether you're reading feed for feed in a separate program directly or visit the website - there is not much difference seen.
However, if we apply a special procedure, known as the "River of Information", wins the case to speed. The news item is no longer separated into separate feeds, but form - similar to a newspaper - a chronological chain. And then there are a few other tricks - but see for yourself:
iTunes URL of the screencast feeds.

In the left sidebar in Google Reader, upper third, there is a menu item that calls itself the "Add subscription". When you click on will open a small text box in which you can copy the feed URL of the desired pure blog.
Feed url = those links / URLs that appear when you in a blog on the - usually - click orang-colored icon.
When you surf with IE 7 or Firefox, it should go easier: First, click on the icon, then you can usually select "Subscribe to this feed using _Google Reader_".
Nice post! I also use Google Reader, but I can not discover in my search box (like in the video). Did I overlook because a function?
The search function is missing one of the few big minuses in Google Reader. I have a temporary solution to the Greasemonkey Tip taken. It is likely that Google will upgrade the function itself at some point.
Thanks for the tip! I'll try it once.
Cool Info. Thank you!
