Sam Framstag

Kauf's noch einmal, Sam!

Buy It Again, Sam!

Actually, it's the sheer lunacy that fabricate the politicians of this world at the moment: You should consume hell-bent on 'get out, beyond the question of whether there is anything useful there or not. Cars for example. It does not matter whether you really need one - the main thing, you buy it. On those crazy ideas you have to get for now. Or they assume. Some of the classic "Framstag Sam." Actually, Sam of professional science fiction writer, but the Netherlands prohibit this type of literature. So he throws on his time machine and wrote a book about the history of Judaism. Back in the present, he notes with amazement that his work as "The Bible" actually sold well and evolved over the centuries so many bonuses have been accumulated, that he now belongs to the ultra rich. And so he is entitled to an additional week, the Framstag.
On some peculiarities, however, Sam has to get used too: he is caught in a police command, because he drives a car that is older than 24 hours. It is customary, in the morning to buy a car and have it scrapped the evening. Or the special service wishes to claim that the car is scrapped before it ever leaves. In the book ... even put a number of other ideas. Let's see, when to appear for example in a concept of the FDP party ;-)
(PS: The original was published in Dutch in 1968, the early 80's then in German, now out of print.)

Thank you for the book tip, that sounds very interesting. sometimes these books are indeed re-issued. For example I have "the last day of creation" by Wolfgang Jeschke bought when it was also sold out, now you can buy it again.
I just noticed this one, because there is about a journey back in time at which the future will be permanently changed ...
