Firefox font problem

Y es, today released Firefox 1.0, many of you use this browser even one for some time. I've got a problem with the font display. Maybe someone can help me: (screenshots on the "Next" page)

Caveat: I've taken in my Windows XP with the screen settings, these "larger font" (120 dpi, 125%). The IU also used as a good starting font (if not a web page indicates, for example, via a different CSS font size).
Okay, Firefox takes as a starting what font smaller, which is actually not that bad, because you can shift up, for example, with "CTRL" and "+" one step (and it would annoy me when I first on each side press this key combination would, perhaps, there is sure to have some trick). With this "enlarger" I'm the IE typeface although very close, but the Firefox display looks "close" and "geknuddelter" that does not please me. It is certainly the letters and the density line spacing that is me in Firefox too tight.
In the Firefox preferences "font" I rumgefummelt - create it but not enough to produce the exact same typeface.
The screenshots are from the MIRROR site .

There's probably not a practical workaround. You could of course download the source code and modify the font handling your wishes. I would say just get used to it, Firefox has so many benefits that obscure these small flaws (which is the way I never noticed before) playing. - Wib

Anyway thanks for the info - probably because there is really no set way to the aligning perfectly.
Yes, soon I'll probably switch to Firefox (of course, because of the MS security risks). My IE add-on "Maxthon" which I now use may exceed 1 year (formerly MyIE2) is just the ergonomics of the major points in my Firefox a bit ahead: The handling of tabs is - in my opinion - solved intuitively, much needs only a single click is (eg closing of tabs), rather than group bookmarks to windows groups so that the bookmarks not be mixed together, the Firefox Google search window can be omitted, because the URL address bar takes over, I always can control the same point, the Mousegestures are short and snappy, the skins are very clear and varied, the pop-up blocker detects more advertising than the latest of Firefox (including Flash ads is detected), with sidebar and plugins can be similar to much how to make Firefox, etc., etc.
Like for me with Firefox 1, the search bar below the RSS detection, etc. And since Firefox in the long run will have the larger developer community, I'll probably have to initiate the transition :-)

Quickly can the font size change with the mouse.

While holding down the Ctrl key and rotate the wheel forward -> smaller font
While holding down the Ctrl key and rotate the wheel backwards -> larger font
