Firefox: Liquor mouse

I guess that is installed at over 90% of Firefox users, an extension for mouse gestures (unless one uses the browser generally without any extension). And at least the ultra-short "fronds" to the left or right with the mouse, the scroll can be an example, one page, is something that you need a few hundred times a day. Until recently I had this FireGestures used, but am now to Mouse Gestures Redox changed sides (on the homepage there is a new version).

It is precisely at the beginning it is very useful that it is customary in the sidebar of Firefox every time a list of the individual gestures Show kann.Wie you can add to the list, or change any of their movements, and in addition, there are plenty of downloadable gestures for each special request. One click - and a new gesture is in the personal list.

Apply in practice will be only a handful of these movements on a regular basis - one of my favorites is because the Diagonalzug from top left to bottom right: running on a graph, this graph is magnified - the rest remains in the original size. Performed on text, only the text is enlarged, the graphics are not zoomed. Also, multiple zoom is thus possible. Alternatively, and perhaps a tip for the front and back sheets: If you want to go back, hold right mouse button and quickly tap the left - opposite order of the forward gear.
(PS: Before I made the complaints get Opera Group - yes, your browser will automatically provide the movement of house :-) ).

There you are with your estimate that over 90% of Firefox users use a mouse gestures extension, but you've very much leaning out the window. = D
I'd rather be 3-7% (this is a really serious estimate) estimate, mainly because such functionality is very generally known, but also because people who want to quickly use the browser, it is much easier and much faster with the keyboard, as do mouse gestures. People want to remain as still remain, are those who see it as a gimmick and try it out, those who have no desire to learn gestures and those who are very annoyed about the fact that they inadvertently (for example, when marking a text ) make gestures and removing the extension now.
As an IT professional, I have not laughed at no one in my circle of friends and acquaintances, the mouse gesture extensions and the Opera user (Opera invented the function and built into the browser), this function have mostly turned off.

Okay, maybe that number is lower. My daily experience is rather that my computer science students groan when they have to do to people they know something on IE - partly because the gesture is missing. Where I agree with you now is that there are few people over the 2 - 4 is really useful to use gestures, this method extensively - it is far too much hassle. I myself certainly kill 80% of my FF-actions on the keyboard (Ctrl. + L, Ctrl. + T, Ctrl. + W, etc.). But since I do not type in during the reading anyway, and use the mouse for navigation on large sites and for the rapid exchange of the tabs, I find the leaves very nice gesture, since I've already been on the hand pointing device. But I would like to correct what :-)

I think the figure is quite low ;-) I'm quite a lot of extensions installed, but gestures are not really going there ...

So I personally know in my circle know anyone who uses mouse gestures with the fox.
and none of it has no extension installed.
So with your 90% you've probably used something besides ;-)

So, I would go crazy without mouse gestures. Although there are only a handful of gestures, but I need. When I sit at times NEM another browser, I'm always glad when I have my FF again.
