Telecom Jungle: Get me out of here!

Call 7: 20:30 clock, call center (Siberia), longer pause for reading database records, confirm that "what is wrong" is gone, but in about 4-6 weeks, I could again receive television broadcasts.
Slight hope with me that it maybe faster, is because the technician had indeed been asked back to VDSL. I hope the final incorrigible!
Call 8: Next morning, 8:30 clock, well Laid technician on the phone who tells me that it had not for some reason yesterday, the conversion done completely. But now that he had taken in hand, I have now finally got my old DSL line again. On my stammering croak and he told me coolly that it would not be in his hand, so make what reversed. I should just decide what I wanted for now ...
Call 9: Yeah, sure, once the database was "cleaned up", it would switch back to entertainment. When exactly ... who could say that about ...
In the evening, email Telekom discovered that they very much regret that I had canceled the entertainment package. Of course I would be desired to call and change surfing. But I should necessarily return the hard disk receiver, otherwise I would have 250, - € will be charged.
Yesterday morning, Saturday 24 First 2009, letter in the mailbox: You are happy that the switch had gone so well and put in an information sheet, which benefits from my call and were surfing.

If you're thinking, I would have invented something like this, who does not know the telecom. On the contrary, a number of details I've omitted.     I do not like anyway you can voluntarily remain at the T-ERROR. Not that the others would be noticeably better. But not so bad after all.

    For the like (or very similar actions), the German Telekom is indeed famous, which comes so often before. Even so I think they are a highly miserable company, no wonder that she is hated in Germany as much surface area.

    Someone once theorized that a contract with Telekom runs smoothly as long as there is no change. That seems about right. If you move, for example, there are almost inevitably problems, because it is the system is not set.
    I am already a customer of several years of telecom. Cable and all the other bells and whistles I do not need anyway. Therefore, there is serious reason to stay with the telecom: for example, the cheapest landline connection in Germany (analog). This is useful for someone like me, the phone each month only very little, usually there are local calls. Why should I pay monthly for a telecom competitors significantly more without better (usable) power, and then can not even call by phone call? Do I have to Telekom therefore still a long shot.

    Now ... it's not like that exists on the 'Entertain' packages of huge rush, so I understand it a bit strange not handling the product by T-COM.
    My little story about this:
    Anyway since I use the big package (~ 51 € per month including ISDN), I called in September (2008) on the hotline to - so my naive Verständis - "dazuzubuchen" Entertain no additional cost. After a few elongated calls back and forth, the availability was clarified ('yes, you can download Java for you') and I asked a really friendly and charming lady phone with the update to Entertain. So far, so good.
    After 8 weeks of icy silence after I hooked it once. How would it look like? Whether I would have probably sent to the receiver?
    After a few phone calls back and forth the matter was clear: You would not turn my entertainment package, because I was with my T-Home package 'business customer', and entertainment would get only households.
    OK, then let it move me to a private customer?
    Yes ... that would not even exist. I may send a fax and explain in detail (!) That I was just not a business customer, but a retail client. And then would continue to be seen.
    In short, the fax was sent quickly, and after two weeks I called again. Whether they would have received my letter? Yes, but you must "decide yet whether I could approve this."     The problem of Telekom or T-Online, is that they offer too many different contracts with different combinations. This is that none of these call center people wircklich with the matter say nothing at all familiar with the technique. All calls in conjunction with a very well-incompetent computer database system in the background, then the telecom service!
