iOS update - with no backup in 5 minutes

S ince the awaited update for a few hours, iPhone, iPad, etc. installed to version 4.2.1. Actually, with great new features - if not because Apple would have provided a backup before the update. And just this backup can be ziiiiehen. Sun reported at least very many users, and to me it's been a long time to come. 5, 6 hours is nothing there - what ever that may be in individual cases [1]. But without a backup - no update.
